SAIEA recently hosted an exclusive Trade Empowerment Dinner, uniting industry leaders, policymakers, and business owners to explore strategies for expanding South Africa’s presence in international eCommerce. This event served as a pivotal platform for SMEs to connect with potential partners, gain insights into global trade opportunities, and navigate cross-border challenges.
As part of SAIEA’s ongoing efforts to drive economic growth, this engagement paves the way for the upcoming Fourth China-Africa Economic & Trade Expo (CAETE) in June 2025. The Expo presents a unique opportunity for South African businesses to showcase their products, secure investment, and strengthen trade relations with China.
In collaboration with the Gauteng Provincial Government, SAIEA invites eligible South African small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to participate in CAETE, Changsha International Conference Centre, Hunan. It aims to enhance economic and trade cooperation between China and African nations. This presents a significant opportunity for SMEs to showcase their products, promote investment opportunities, and strengthen bilateral relationships between China and South Africa.
